The Astoria Garage in Vienna is a remarkable filming location that impresses with its historic architecture and unique charm. Located at Trautsongasse 4 in the 8th district, it was founded in 1918 by Dipl. Ing. Cesar Karrer. From 1935 onwards, under his leadership, a six-story tower garage was built, featuring a spiral ramp and an impressive glass dome above the fueling station.
As one of the oldest remaining multi-story garages in Vienna, the Astoria Garage stands out with its light-filled floors, large windows, and winding ramp, creating a distinctive atmosphere. This nostalgic location is perfect for scenes with an urban and industrial flair. The unique character of the garage, combining historic elements, makes it a versatile filming location suitable for a variety of film genres.
